M3K modkit
Purchasing links, price and shipping times
You can buy the M3K modkit either here on our website or via the iPhone/Android shop app from Shopify.
Note from April 9th: Modkits ordered in April of 2025 will be shipped
out in May; we currently are investigating an issue with the 3399
sensor that probably will require implementing a firmware fix by the
sensor manufacturer PixArt.
Note from June 9th: Our investigation showed that there is no issue with the 3399 sensor. We will resume shipping out M3K modkits this week.
The price of the modkit is 120 Euros (includes world-wide shipping). Shipping will take two to four days, depending on your location. We will ship out modkits roughly once per week, so depending on when exactly you order you will have to wait between two to ten days.
The M3K modkit in a nutshell
With the M3K modkit you have a gaming mouse PCB with an extremely low weight (7.8 grams with lens, 8.7 grams with lens plus wheel) combined with extremely low latency. Add to that top of the line components, like Japanese switches (Omron D2F-01F), a Japanese encoder (Alps EC10E1220501), a potent MCU (STM32F723VEY6TR) and the 3399 sensor from PixArt (the M1K and M2K had the 3360 sensor). And thanks to the open-source firmware as well as an abundance of broken out MCU pins for easy soldering, you have lots modding potential.
The M3K cable is included in the M3K modkit. Thanks to its space-grade insulation the M3K cable is 20 percent smaller and 29 percent lighter than the M2K cable. The cable is already crimped and we have inserted the crimped conductors into the Molex plug (all you have to do is to plug that cable into the PCB).
Also part of the modkit is the ceramic coated wheel (0.9 grams), as well as the seven screws of the M3K.
We uploaded the STL file of the M3K PCB to Printables, so that you can easily design a shell around the M3K PCB. Everything you need to know to transform the M3K modkit into a complete mouse is included in the description over at Printables.
Happy modding. :)
